Though it's not a clear winner in every race, the Nikon D60 seems to have the best overall performance of the group. However, its photo quality and feature set can't match most of the other models for the money.

No fewer than 11 of Canon's ultrapopular, ultracompact digital cameras are still Acer TravelMate 290 Battery widely available, and some are still going strong after more than a year--remarkable in such a fickle, high-churn market.
