Tell us about your career as model. How did you get started?A friend of mine was looking for a model with dark hair for a gothic shoot and I offered to help out and I enjoyed it so much!Do you love any one genre of modelling more than another?I love any style that is creative but I love Avant Garde & Boudoir the most.What was your first shoot as a model like?It was so much fun, I had a blast and I enjoyed it so much, it made me fall in love with posing and being able to pretend to be someone else in front of the camera!Tell us about your style as a model? I love doing Dark Beauty styled shoots and Boudoir shoots the most. .You’re also a stylist! Could you tell us more about this?I absolutely love being behind the camera, from coming up with the concepts to bringing an idea to life!What is your favourite alt style?I love Dark Beauty/ Gothic/ Victorian style.As a makeup artist, what has been your most extensive project to date? It was really cool to have my work on the front cover of Kultur Magazine once and I have also done make up for many leading eyewear brands and have been lucky to work with and meet so many awesome people.
What is one cosmetic product you could never live without?Red lipstick.Let’s talk tattoos for a moment! What first drew you to tattoos?I was attracted to the way people expressed themselves through their ink and I loved the sense of individuality.Do you have a favourite tattoo experience/tattooist/tattoo? It was really awesome getting my Geisha tattoo tattooed on me at a Tattoo convention and we won a prize for it.Are you planning any more for the future?Yes, I’m getting blue macaw parrot wings extended on my lower back soon. I’m really looking forward to it.What do you do when you aren’t modelling?I have been doing Roller derby for 4 years now.. I skate for The Raging Warmones Roller Derby team and the Joburg All Stars for C-Max Roller derby.. I also skated for team South Africa at the Roller derby world cup last year. I enjoy Roller derby so much as it makes me feel strong, alive and keeps me fit JHow much have you changed since you first started modelling? I haven’t changed much but I would say I have embraced my femininity and developed into more of a women. Do you have any tips for new models that find you inspiring? Always stay true to yourself.
