Women Dumped Their Boyfriends to Marry One Another

Two women have opened up about their relationship, which began when the pair met one another while they were dating different people. Although Holly Anderson knew she was gay even though she was in a heterosexual relationship, Zoe Ross never once thought she’d end up with a woman. But shortly after meeting, the pair hit it off and fell in love.

Instant friends. Zoe Ross and Holly Anderson met while Zoe was dating her then boyfriend Ashley Mills, and Holly was dating Dave. The two women became instant friends, and the two men were happy to see them get along, thinking nothing of it.

Just friends. Zoe and Holly began to hang out together, going to bars, shopping, and more. The pair were hanging out so much in fact, that Ashley began to suspect that something was up. He pressed Zoe to tell him what was going on, but she insisted she and Holly were just friends.

Possessive. "Ashley started texting Holly all the time, telling her to stay away from me and insisting I was not gay. He told her to back off. I thought Ashley was being ­ridiculous and possessive – ­because I didn’t think for a minute that I was gay,” said Zoe, as reported by the Mirror UK.

First kiss. Things escalated after a night out, when Zoe suddenly became jealous that Holly was flirting with another woman. In a fit of jealousy, she kissed Holly. The pair didn’t talk about the kiss the next day, but in just a few weeks, their sexual tension had increased.

Affair. Finally the women gave in and admitted their feelings to one another. They began to see each other behind the backs of their boyfriends, but eventually decided to come clean about the affair. It’s safe to say neither took it well.

Pressure. “Ashley kept telling me I wasn’t gay. He begged me to stay with him and I got really mixed up. He got my mum on side and she was also telling me to stay with Ashley. The pressure was so bad that I took an ­overdose. I felt really confused,” said Zoe, as reported by the Mirror UK.

Marriage. Despite the heat they were receiving from friends and family, Zoe and Holly were happy. There was no denying that they had feelings for each other, and now, the women have since gotten married and are working to start a family together.

Attracted. “The first time I spent a night with Holly it felt so natural I wondered if I had ever really been attracted to men. I’d never grown up with feelings towards girls. I don’t look at other girls and feel attracted to them now. It’s only ever been Holly. I think it’s because I love her so much,” Zoe told the Mirror UK.

Starting a family. Zoe and Holly moved to a new town to start their lives over somewhere where no one knows them. Now, they are looking for a donor so that they can give Shannon, Zoe’s daughter from a previous relationship, a new sibling.

Family. “I never ­imagined I’d be a mum. It wasn’t something I even thought about before I met Zoe. It’s all very natural for Shannon. She calls us both Mummy. Her dad is really great about it all as well and also refers to us both as Mummy. Shannon is a lovely child and it’s made me want to have more children with Zoe,” said Holly, as reported by the Mirror UK.

Dream. The women have contacted several sperm donors through an online website for gay couples who are trying to start a family. They’ve given artificial insemination a go twice already, but to no avail. However, they are not giving up their dream to start family.

Fingers crossed. “We met someone through an internet site who is really kind and wants to help us have a baby. We’ve tried ­artificial ­insemination twice but it’s not worked for us yet. We’re keeping our fingers crossed, though,” said Holly, as reported by the Mirror UK.
